as frustrating as it is to be feeling down in the dumps, you inevitably have to pick yourself up and get on with things because whether or not you're up for the challenge...life. goes. on.

but what's a girl to do with so many promising, yet, false hopes being thrown at her left, right and center? 

in today's world, given the rarity that is finding someone you can see yourself being happy with...isn't that something you hold on tight to and never let go of?

apparently not. 

ultimately, we are all pawns in the game of life, in our desperate attempts to master the art of reading one another; and trying to figure out when to play our cards, place our bets or put our hearts on the line...

naturally, some players are better at it than others. 

unfortunately, if you can't keep up, you get left behind.

so, when it comes to life and love, how long can we afford to wait without getting left behind?
