so, today was a bit of an emotional disaster...especially because things are -and have, for the most part, been- a case of mind over matter. but, for some unknown reason, i allowed the spuriousness of my feelings get the better of me, veered off the path i've committed myself to -and well, let's just say that i'm glad today is finally over and tomorrow is less than two hours away.
on a positive note, i gained closure.
finally with 9874987340593 y's.
however, no crime should go unpunished. and to remedy my blunder, i forced myself through the most intense leg workout i've had since i can remember -and well, in some ways, that made it all worth it. hopefully i'll be able to see the results come the end of week two of my 15-week challenge. i am presuming that doing 10 working sets of squats should have some sort of short-term effect. and, with back-to-back spin classes tomorrow, and maybe a light run -all that cardio should have me well-prepared for my friday morning weigh-in.
anyway, today was totally my bad -i truly don't know what, in the name of all things sacred, i was thinking. but, i, too, make mistakes.
as it turns out, i am only human after all.
