you don't have to move on to let go.

it's never really occurred to me, how exactly one would go about bridging the gap between the impression one intends to convey to the outside world, and that which is, in fact, conveyed. what's more is that, if actions always speak louder than words, how do we explain those, certain people, who simply do not know how to act at times -and who, ultimately fail to express themselves via anything but their creative outlets?

i find it highly unfortunate that we, as a society, are so overly concerned with what other people think. so much, to the point, that we are oblivious to the importance of what we, ultimately, think of ourselves.

and, as much as i would desperately love for you to know how it is i feel, it's usually easier to simply retreat into my comfort bubble, without having to worry about whether or not what i say or do is understood to the capacity in which i mean it all.

so, that's where i choose to be at the moment. i've found contentment in the knowing the truth as i know it.

and right now, at least..that's what counts.
