it still doesn't feel like christmas..unfortunately.
there's hardly any snow and the mall's aren't AS busy as they should be -although the parking lots are still full to the max. which, if you think about it, doesn't make all that much sense -unless, people are just not into carpooling anymore..
it's a possibility.
anyway, with christmas comes the end of one year -and that, in turn, means the start of a new one; which, always manages to create a sense of novelty within us: a complimentary fresh start -courtesy of the universe, i suppose -or God. one of the two, i'm sure. regardless, it's something we all look forward to, in the hopes of improving ourselves, whether it be emotionally, physically, mentally or spiritually....financially, aesthetically, surgically, sexually...i could go on.
but i won't.
this year, however, has been a surprisingly good one...a great one, in fact. my personal best as of yet, actually. and for the first time, in my entire life, my list of new-year resolutions does not exceed my list of old-year achievements, which feels incredible!
so, from starting off the year with my best friends (and best bar tenders/potential future husbands!), to spending my first valentine's day sans the significant other (and enjoying it!), to owning singledom, earning that (well-deserved) bulletproof vest, celebrating my second 21st in style, finishing school, graduating from university, receiving my beloved camera, understanding (and liking!) UFC, becoming TESL certified, buying my first pair of thigh-high boots, making my very own, home-made halloween costume from scratch, deactivating my facebook account, attending my first, second, third and fourth homo hops, to doing paris, tokyo andddddd london! not to mention the many, many, not-so-memorable, girls' nights out, weekend getaways, spa dates..andddddd lastly, but certainly not leastly...
my newest purchase =)
t'was definitely a goooooood year.
