it was such an eye-opener for me about so many things: the extent to which the poverty-stricken are struck; the harsh reality of so many who are forced to live on the streets and survive with absolutely nothing to their name and nowhere to call home; and the degree to which evil and corruption exist. like, you know these things exist, but you don't realize just how bad some people have it. it's just wow.
and of course, the mandatory love-story that is inescapable in bollywood films...now, that, in itself was absolutely beautiful..it was perfect.
it was a truly enlightening film and because of it, i think i'm ready to let go. after months and months of trying solution after solution, i've come to see how selfish i was being. and the truth is, there isn't any other solution...and it's for the best; not just for me, but for the both of us. i've realized that if i actually want to end up with you and be happy and spend the rest of my life being happy with you, it's what i have to do...because right now, the timing's just not right.
i've come to accept that i have to let go for a little while, as painful and as difficult as that is...i'm leaving my life up to what destiny has in store for me.
i have faith in the stars. i know you'll come find me...until then, i'll be waiting.
