it's sad, really: the lengths to which we often go in order to find the things which are supposedly "beautiful". in whose opinion, i'm not sure. but as much as i, too, am guilty of being a scavenger on the epitome of hopeless hunts, high-end shopping malls and luxury-car dealerships is simply not where true beauty is or can be found.
and there's nothing more soothing than taking a solo nature walk in your very own backyard on the most gorgeous of fall mornings; especially after the most hectic and emotionally-turbulent of work weeks -only to realize that beauty doesn't cost a thing. in fact, it's just sitting there, waiting for you to find it, capture its essence, take it home and upload it onto flickr; no photoshop required.
