i've come to realize that the lifestyle i've established and adopted as my own over the past year and a half is somewhat unrealistic as far as maintaining it in the long-term is concerned. having become accustomed to the single life and being on my own, there's very little room for much else besides work, the gym, close friends and family and...well, me. and whereas i do believe that life, in general, is about balance and impeccable time management, it is the ultimate challenge to make space for the people and the things that are new to one's life picture.
thank god for photoshop, right?
my life has definitely required a slight adjustment based on the recent, shall we say,"developments". and whereas it's always a good thing to re-prioritize every once in a while, in order to stay caught up with real life, one should never neglect the foundational elements that allowed you to find yourself in the first place - and which enable you to enjoy being who you really are.
and, as idiotic as the cast of jersey shore appear to be -at the end of the day, we could all learn a little from mike.
if you don't go to the gym, you don't look good;
if you don't tan, you're pale;
and if you don't do laundry, you ain't got no clothes!
-the situation.
