as is always the case: with the labour-day long weekend, comes summer's end. and last night's celebration of that -from what i can remember -was proportional, to say the least.
and whereas time tends to slip by unnoticed, knowing that you made the most of what you did when you could...there's no better feeling. well, there is; but that's a story for a rainier day than today =P
all in all it's been a life-changing summer: definitely one for the books. did lots, learned lots, changed lots -mind you, "lots" is not a word, i don't think - went lots of places, met lots of people, saw lots of things. and as sad as i may be to say goodbye to what has been an extremely unpredictable and humid summer season, there's just something about autumn. really, who doesn't love fall jackets, long scarves and tall boots, white hot chocolates, crisp morning dew, the changing leaves and, of course, raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens?
