as uncategorical as my blog may be -there are certain occassions which, by default, warrant posting. and for the most part, those occassions -if in case you're wondering -include severely emotional events for the duration of which all of my pets are sleeping. in other words, i suppose loneliness motivates me to write =P and as much as i take pride in my writing style...i've also always prided myself on the fact that i've never run over a living creature while driving.
until this morning.
and i'm not going to make excuses: i wasn't paying attention and by the time i saw it run into the road, it was too late.
maybe it's a good thing it wasn't a child -although i'm pretty sure i would have seen a child from more than a foot away. i just hope this doesn't mean that my karma's got a mack truck lined up and ready to greet me on my drive home this afternoon.
sigh sighhhhhh.
