i must admit to my newest indulgence: other people's blogs. which, might i add, are seemingly infinite. and, despite that i adore reading and writing with an untimely passion; browsing through the endless fashion faux pas and do-do's, in and among archive after archive of photograph after photograph, is like reminiscing about my pre-literary days, which for the better part of the past 5 years, has been something away from which i have been unable to escape.
and i suppose, that is exactly what my blog represents. whereas a billion and two other people have fashion blogs, photography blogs, cooking blogs and god know what other types of blog -mine, although not entirely categorical, has been my escape route, the medium-sized bubble, to which i run away when real life becomes unmanageable.
so, yes, i've never had a theme, or a focus -other than the ins and outs of my every-other-day life happenings -but, i'm okay with that. it's representative of who i, ultimately am; someone who's a blend, neither here nor there...and anything but black and white. and although i do strongly believe that it is simply human nature to desire definition, be it by means of what you do, where you're from, to whom you belong, the things you enjoy or your perspective on life; at the end of the day, definition by one thing or some things is the ultimate limitation. and if you ask me, being undefinable -regardless of human nature- is what we are all truly in search of.
and until i can verify that, i will continue working on that 6-pack i know is hiding somewhere under all that winter "insulation"! because after 4 comes 6, right??
