it's ironic, in a way, not being able to express myself -in writing -when i have so much to say..as if my thoughts are silenced by their sheer multitude. it's rather frustrating, actually -thinking one thing and then having that thought overwritten by the next and the next and the next; each exponentially larger and more daunting than its predecessor. and before you know it, you have so many ideas in your head and thoughts on your mind and no outlet by means of which to release them into the universe.
what helps, i've found, is to break apart the snowball of that multitude of ideas, which unceasingly forms, into singular concepts; thereby sorting through it all and making sense of the loose ends becomes a tad bit less complex. because, let's face it: nobody enjoys complexity in its most intricate form.
and whereas the past little while has turned out to be a bit of a joy ride -no pun intended ;) - i've enjoyed every minute of it. but i just can't help but start to feel as if this portion of the trip is beginning to encroach upon what appears to be somewhat of a gravel path.
and it's not at all a bad thing -gravel's not ever a bad thing. i suppose it just requires that you, perhaps, adjust your body weight accordingly and tread onwards more carefully than you otherwise would have, as not to have the soles of your feet pierced by half a million sharp rocks -not that the rocks are overly sharp for the time being.
regardless, walking on rocks -whatever their size or serration -is always something one should be aware of in advance, don't you think? and as much as taking risks is wherein lies the fun in life, precautionary measures can't hurt -especially if they're restricted to being exactly that and nothing more.
hey, on a positive note, maybe it's a test in disguise. and at the rate i'm going -if that happens to be the case -i'm gonna ace it =)
