i've gotten to well beyond the half-way mark as far as my 100-day challenge is concerned. and i'm really impressed with myself in that the diet and nutrition portion has been on point for the majority of those 65 days. and the workout part, well..that's the least of my problems at this point.
as i had mentioned prior, i'm having difficulty giving myself rest days. i suppose since a regular workout will consist of lifting heavy -or a long-distance run...or even back-to-back spin and bodyflow classes -resting doesn't exactly mean taking a day off from doing any exercise per se.
a rest day -in my books, at least -means maybe going to pilates or yoga instead of a spin or body combat class. and i am fully aware that rest is a huge part of exercise -but it's just so frustrating not having a workout to look forward to at some point throughout the day.
anyway, so far i can't complain.
and i'm looking forward to our up-and-coming change of pace. for a while now, lifting heavy and doing strength training has been working. but, with the summer season just around the corner, it's time to start leaning out those extremities for a more slim and sexy look=)
