relight my fire.

preparing for my leave has been a surprisingly daunting task. trying to consider any and all of the information and resources my replacement may eventually need is what has been consuming the majority of my time -and is likely what will continue to constitute the remainder of my two weeks here. looking back on the past ten months, to realize just how much has changed since i started working here is truly fascinating. and the mere thought of ensuring a seamless transition for the rest of the team for the interim between my departure and my successor's arrival is all the more intimidating a thought given how prone my co-workers seem to be when it comes to finding gaps to fall into.

frankly speaking, this is not what i expected of my final days. but then again, is anything ever as one expects?

on the bright side, the timing could not be any better. as i always say: with the end of one year comes the start of a new one -and what's more appropriate this time of year than closing a chapter in one's life and beginning to write the next?

in hindsight, 2010 was phenomenal. life's simply guaranteed to be better when expectations are none. disappoinment is an impossibility and chances are, you'll be pleasantly surprised on more than one occassion.

so from where i stand, there are less than a dozen days until new years! i should probably start thinking about what to put on my to-do list for this upcoming year. however, as far as the successful completion of my entire list of resolutions for this year....that'll be a big, fat check mark =)
