saying "sorry" is possibly the most over-said and, simultaneously, under-rated thing in this world.
you have those really irritating people who apologize for everything!; which makes saying "sorry" mean very little. and then there are those (hardly) select few, who just don't say it enough...or at all, for that matter.
does apologizing for something you knew you shouldn't have done in the first place actually count? does saying "sorry" mean anything, when the person at fault isn't, in fact, all that sorry?
where then, should the fine line between saying sorry too much and not saying sorry enough, be drawn? and why, as human beings, are we programmed to presume that an apology (regardless of its essence) will suffice in warranting one's forgiveness in another?
