whatcha say?

if human nature is wired such that we always want what we can't have, does it inevitably follow that that which one can have is unwanted? and the things we convince ourselves of wanting...well, do we want them because we truly desire them or do we desire them because we are inured to thinking that those are, in fact, the things we want? is it fundamentally a matter of wanting what is available to us -but not yet procured? in all reality, do we ever truly desire things which are too far beyond the scope of our reach? so does that mean that we are all therefore, simply condemned to no longer wanting what we have once we secure that which had previously been obtainable, but unacquired?

and whereabouts are we to draw the line between what you believe you want and what you ought to do about those desires? is it a question to which the response is either black or white? are the grey areas even allowed?

i guarantee you...it's more simple than it is complex. maybe, just maybe, the loss of interest we, as human beings, so frequently experience -and so easily attribute to the intricacies of human nature -is a clear and straightforward result of not knowing what it is we actually wanted in the first place.

buttttttttt, as usual...that's just me.
